The JS series spring coupling with detachable expansion sleeve is composed of two half coupling components and one (or more) serpentine spring with high strength and toughness, as well as two sealing components and two shells. The torque range is between 2-1300 kN.m.

The coupling is axially embedded in the two halves by more than 36% of the serpentine spring. The contact point between the reed and the tooth surface, that is, the change of the torque, changes with the magnitude of the transmitted torque, and its transmission characteristics are variable stiffness. Therefore, it has a greater load variation than ordinary elastic couplings. The buffer effect produced when the transmission force makes the reed deform along the tooth arc, especially when the machine is started or when a strong impact load occurs, can protect the safety of the supporting parts to a certain extent.

The transmission efficiency of the coupling has been determined to reach 99.47%, and its short-term overload capacity is twice the rated torque, and the operation is safe and reliable.
4. Low noise and good lubrication
The aluminum alloy casing protects the spring from being thrown out during operation, and the casing is filled with butter, which not only ensures good lubrication, but also eliminates the noise when the reeds engage by being absorbed by the grease damping.
5. Simple structure, easy assembly and disassembly
The whole machine has few parts, small size, and light weight. The spring piece designed as a trapezoidal cross-section fits the trapezoidal tooth groove very conveniently and tightly, so that the assembly, disassembly and maintenance are easier than ordinary couplings.
6. Large installation deviation is allowed
Since the spring piece is in point contact with the arc surface of the tooth, the coupling can obtain greater flexibility. It can be installed to work normally with radial, angular and axial deviations at the same time.
